APOLLO TYRES HAS COME UP WITH THE INITIATIVE OF PLANTING 25,000 TREES WITHIN THE TIRUPATI DISTRICT FOR THE GREATER BENEFIT OF THE ENVIRONMENT IN MAKING IT MUCH MORE SUSTAINABLE.

Apollo Tyres launched one of the biggest events in Andhra Pradesh, and it is known to plant 25,000 trees within and around the Tirupati district. Besides other environmental contributions, this would help the company much in achieving a sustainable pattern of activity. Activities such as restoration activities and sharing with farming communities were included in such measures by the company. The tree planting had started on December 18, 2024, in Sri City, where the project integrates agroforestry with traditional farming.

This planting involves fruits trees, like mango, coconut, guava, jackfruit, and some timber trees. This really goes a long way toward broadening and improving the environment for some extra incomes into the local farmers' wallets. These extra incomes might be realized when farmers associate their fruit gathering and timber-producing trees to avail themselves of other resources for a much larger variety of economic opportunities. 

Tree planting has major local economic objectives as well as broader environmental ones. Enhanced tree cover, soil moisture conservation, and soil fertility improvement around this area will go a long way in complementing global efforts toward mitigating the effects of climate change and enhancing biodiversity.
